Eoff Electric wins Energy Trust Award for 5th Year in a Row!
May 4, 2010 - Once again, Eoff Electric Supply was recognized by the Energy Trust of Oregon for saving the most kilowatt hours for the state as a distributor in 2009. This is the 5th year in a row that Eoff has earned this award. The projects completed by Eoff Electric Supply in 2009 represented 4.5 million KWH saved, up from 2.9 million in 2008.
"The Energy Trust has been an excellent partner to work with and to administer the energy savings the state of Oregon desired," said Gil Amestoy, Eoff's Energy Management specialist. "We have been working with them since their formation."
Product innovation by electrical manufacturers has led to continued business for distributors. "There continues to be a great demand for energy reduction in Oregon due to the state's desire to be responsible for the great environment we enjoy in the Pacific Northwest," said Bob Mumford, Eoff's Director of Marketing. "Our manufacturer partners are doing a great job of providing innovative solutions to increase performance for the end user (such as improving quality of lighting in a facility) while creating drastic reductions in energy consumption."
Paul LeVeaux, Eoff's Vice President and General Manager, stated, "We are honored to be able to play a part in conservation efforts of our contractors and their customers. We continue to invest in helping our customers participate in the changing market that has a heavy emphasis on retrofitting existing buildings."
