Sonepar 2006 - An Outstanding Year

Paris, France (January 23, 2007) - - Sonepar’s consolidated sales in 2006 reached a historic high of 9.45 billion euros, up 22.7%. This figure reflects a record 15.4% autonomous growth rate*. Excluding our best estimates of the rise in copper prices (7%) and of the inflation rate for other products (3%), our effective growth in terms of volume was still over 5%.

In the industry consolidation trend currently underway, Sonepar has once again maintained its lead among electrical wholesalers worldwide.
